Manager Registration Notes

Updated 11/11/2011

Managers;

 Online registration is available.  On the left side of the Spring/Summer registration page you will find buttons for different documents to be printed.  Please print these documents off and read them carefully.

 SPAA does not require signed rosters and birth certificates do not need to be shown.  However, if a roster is questioned because of the age of a player, you will have 48 hours to produce a copy of a birth certificate to our office.  We will reserve the right to ask for an original if we feel it is necessary.  Hopefully all of this will make your jobs as a manager easier and give you more time to manage your team.

 Each of you will need to go out to the Active website (you may get there through the SPAA website) and set up an account as the manger if you do not already have one.  You will also need to set up your team.  Once your team is set up, you should contact your team members and give them the team password you set up and have them go out to www.SPAA.com and register.  Each parent must register their child themselves as the Parents Right To Know is included in the registration.  If you are a girls double header manager where the registration is a team fee, you will need to pay for your team when you set it up.

 It is your responsibility to keep an eye on your team’s progress in getting registered.  To do this you would go to www.active.com/teams and follow the prompt for putting in your password.  (I recommend using a separate password for you to sign on and one for your players to get on your team.)

Should you or your parents have any questions or problems with setting up your team or registering you may contact the SPAA office at 636-397-3149 for help.  If we cannot help you we will refer you to the Active customer support group at 1-877-228-4881 or support@active.com.

If your team wishes to buyout of concession duty please send a $300.00 check to the SPAA office by March 12th

In order for your team to be scheduled, you must have 10 players registered by March 1.  The 19 & over leagues will have until May 1 to get 10 players registered.

The next manager’s meeting is Monday, March 12, 2012 at St. Peters City Hall.  This meeting is extremely important as we will be going over the manager’s packet, hand out lineup cards, hand out scorebooks, go over rules with your individual age group, and we will also be doing final ranking that night.  Be sure and set this date aside right now as I cannot stress enough how important this night will be.

If you need players from open registration it is your responsibility to let me know that so I can allow for the right amount of draw teams and get your players to you ASAP.

If you are playing in any of the following age groups there is no family discount for your players: 4 or 5 year old t-ball; 10U, 12U, 14U, or 16/18 U Girls Double Header leagues; or the 19 & Over  league.

Following are the days the Girls Double Header Leagues will play:

LATE FEES:  $10.00 late fee will go into effect on March 1, 2012 for T-ball registrants and 6 – 18 year old girls and boys playing in our regular league or boy’s AA league.
