Managers Expectations
Following is a list of what the SPAA board expects of our managers:
¨ You
are expected to distribute the Parents Right To Know letter to every family on
your team and have one parent per child sign the signature sheet provided.
You may not sign this for any other parent other than yourself.
If you are a draw manager, this does not pertain to you.
¨ SPAA
Board of Directors has the right and power to put you on probation or suspend
you for any period they see fit, for any indiscretions on the part of yourself,
your team or your fans. You are
responsible for the actions of your coaches, players, and fans.
¨ Each
team is to provide concession workers and a field commissioner for approximately
15 hours of concession duty or pay a buy out amount of $300.00 per team.
¨ Teams
are responsible for supplying their own uniforms and every player must be
dressed alike and have a number on the back of their shirt at least 6 inches
tall. (PWI and PWII teams are
furnished with shirts and hats.)
¨ If
a player approaches you to play on your team, it is your responsibility to find
out if this player is already signed on another SPAA team in the same
age group before you talk to him/her about joining your team.
¨ If you use SPAA equipment there are specific dates set for turn in. These are listed in your manager’s packet. Equipment must be turned in on these dates or a fee will be charged.
