We will be playing in the St. Peters select league and will play in 6-8 tournaments throughout the area - including ASA North Nationals in Bloomington, Indiana. Team went 12-5 this past fall, playing a tournament only schedule against the top 10U teams in the metro area. The Diamond Girls will be playing in the Friday Night Competitive Double-Header League sponsored by the SPAA plus 3 to 4 local tournaments. We are an established team that is looking for girls with previous experience who would like to join a great group of girls that have fun playing and learning softball. 11/5/08 - Juvenile I team has roster spots available for tryout. We play in the St. Peters and O’fallon leagues for spring and played in the O’fallon league for fall last season. Our team has a strong core that is returning and has been together for several years. We are looking for team players that will give a 110% effort, display good sportsmanship, have a strong grasp on the basics, and wish to learn the finer points of the game. 1/2/09 - The Shooting Stars, a 10U softball team, is looking to complete it's roster for the coming 2009 season. We are an established team with a solid core and great parents. We are looking for one (1) experienced player with pitching or catching experience preferred but are open to others as well. We will practice twice a week starting in February. 12/12/08 - The Red Devils Atom II baseball team (birthday on or after May 1, 1999) is looking for several players to round out their roster. We are an established team with a great core group of kids and parents. We are looking for boys who have played baseball and want to develop their skills in a fun and positive environment. Players are required to display a positive attitude, pay attention and give 100%. We practice 2-3 times per week throughout the season at Castlio Elementary School and at Balls-N-Strikes in O'Fallon. 12/12/08 - New for 2009 – 10 & Under girls select doubleheader league. We are currently looking for up to 5 additional teams to participate in a 10 & Under Friday night doubleheader league to be played at Shady Springs Park. Other teams that have committed to be in the league are Outburst (’98), Outburst (’99), Diamond Girls, and the St Peters Royals. A few other teams are uncommitted at the moment. 12/12/08 - Frank's Plumbing Cheetah Girls, a 12U tam, is looking to complete their roster for the spring of 2009 with the addition of two (2) players. The ability to pitch and/or play 3rd base is at the top of the priority list. Team competed in American White last year. 12/9/08 - The 9U - Atom 2 Missouri Diamond Dogs are looking for one more player to fill out the 2009 roster. We were the SPAA American Blue league champions last year, as well as, 2nd in the select division of the State Tournament in Columbia. We will play league play, 9 local tournaments and 1 out-of-town tournament this season. We have already begun practices for the 2009 season. 12/9/08 - Renegades (Atom 2) We are looking for one player to complete our 2009 roster with emphasis on pitching. Your sons' DOB must be 5-1-99 or after to be eligible for our team. We will play a competitive schedule either American Blue or Red in the St. Peters Athletic Association as well as 3 or 4 tournaments throughout the spring and summer plus a traveling weekend tournament to Columbia in the Show Me Games. We have started winter practices and will be practicing thru March. 12/4/08 - An established baseball team, playing at the Bantam 1 level (birthdate on or after May 01, 1998), is looking for additional players. We have a returning core of 7 players, and we are looking for 5 additional players for the Spring 2009 season. We are looking for boys who have played baseball previously, understand the basics of baseball, and are excited to continue learning and developing their baseball skills in a low-pressure environment. The team philosophy centers on teaching fundamental baseball and enjoying the game. We will teach & encourage, have fun, and recognize individual wins, while learning that team wins will result from learning and enjoying the game. We are not a select and/or tournament team, and we will not provide that type of experience. We expect to remain in the Continental Blue division for Spring 2009. 12/4/08 - We are the Lady Redbirds. We are a second year 10 and under girls softball team. We are a competitive team looking for competitive players and supportive parents for the upcoming 2009 spring SPAA softball season. Our team is well coached with a great group of players. Our record last season was a combined 19-2-1. Our girls scoured 313 total runs and allowed only 107 against. We are also looking forward to playing in a few tournaments this upcoming season. Our team is looking for girls who have previous experience and want to learn more about the game of softball and want to have fun. If you have pitching and catching experience that would be a plus. Our team practices indoors throughout the winter at a local church with no cost to the parents. 11/18/08 - Rawlings RockHounds a 9u (Atom 2) boys select baseball team is looking for 2 high level ball players. We will be focusing on fundamentals while playing some top notch baseball around St Louis. We are affiliated with the Rawlings Prospect baseball club, a top baseball club in St Louis. We will be playing league at St Peters and also competing in 3-5 tournaments and 1 out of town tournament. 11/11/08 - 12U Softball team looking for 4 players to complete their roster. The team has been together for the past 2 years in the 10U age bracket and has been primarily a recreational team. We are looking to compete at the 12U level so we are looking for players with a good fundamental skill set that are looking to further develop those skills and have fun doing it.
