To be eligible to participate in the 2008 season, boys and girls must turn 6 before December 31, 2008 and may not reach the age of 19 before July 1, 2008.
A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required if the child has not played in SPAA before, and either a check, cash or money order for your child’s fee. We do not accept credit cards.
Yes. They should come in to registration together, if at all possible, to ensure there is room on the team for 2 players together. SPAA will be limited to 315 teams. We will do our best to keep children with their friends as much as possible.
The 12 game season will start in mid April and continue through July.
No, we play on 20 different fields in 6 different locations and the games will be on Monday through Friday nights, with the week ends used for make ups. Brown Road Park, Sports Complex and Old Town Park are located in Old Town St. Peters; Shady Springs Park is at Cave Springs behind the YMCA; Woodlands Park is off of Ohmes Road; and Strehl Fields are on Highway N.
Parent Participation is used in our concession stands and arranged on a team basis. Each team is required to do approximately 15 hours of concession duty.
A t-shirt and hat is provided for Pee Wee I and Pee Wee II players. Other age groups provide their own uniforms and must all look alike.
No, SPAA is an independent youth baseball/softball organization. There is no residency requirement to participate in SPAA.
All of our managers and coaches are volunteers. At individual registration you may sign up to manage a team, providing a manager is still needed. Managers will then pick their own coaches.
From I70 you will exit at the Mid Rivers exit and go to the North Service Road. Take a left on the North Service Road and go past Quik Trip. This will become Main Street. You will come to a stop sign and you keep going straight. We are past the fire station and have a baseball sign hanging out from our building. The address is 19 Main Street.
